Facebook has received a fine from Italy's Competition Board worth 10m euros.

A written statement by the Competition Board reportedly sentenced Facebook to a fine of 10m euros due to illegal use with commercial purposes of personal information to users.

Furthermore, Facebook reportedly violated consumer law provisions 21 and 22 and used users' information for commercial purposes without immediately announcing them.

The Competition Board has discovered that when there is an cyber attack on Facebook users' information, there is no automatic warning system.
