Facebook has provided privileged access to client data to several companies, including Netflix and Airb. A British Parliament representative recently offered documents proving that scandals on the most popular network have no end and only grow and grow.
Companies that had this privilege, according to Damian Collins, are the app for finding Badoo partners and for Lyft transport services. The documents are provided by the Six4Thre apps programme company, which is currently in court battle with Facebook.
Besides Badoo, there are also hot-Not-Bug recognition applications.
However, some of the data approaches were denied, including the Tickettmaster ticketing service, the Twitter-owned Vine short video content service and the Aerbiscuty app.
Facebook has denied selling user data to other companies. Otherwise, the popular network has faced fines following the Cambridge Analytic scandal. The British regulatory entity for protecting data (ICO) fined 565,000 euros on Facebook after the Cambridge Analyticaʹ issue and using the personal data of millions of users without their consent.
