The process continues following Zaic's statement, which at the last session had denied guilt.
During today's hearing, the court will handle prosecution evidence claiming to testify to the murder of Albanian civilians and the burning of their property.
The State Prosecutor's Office on three pages has described the situation in which Serb residents of Dush, Kline, were involved in the persecution of their Albanian neighbours during June 98. In the Serb and Albanian residential village, three elders were burned and two women and two men were killed.
Milorad Zaic is accused of involvement in the persecution of his neighbours by offering his house a base for the army and shooting at Albanian homes.
Serbia, then 51, lived in the village along with Albanian neighbours, but the situation had changed after the start of the war.
On 19 June, the prosecution claims Zaic launched his battle against Albanian neighbours.
That day according to the indictment, the defendant was seen by neighbours firing weapons from his Zastava car, while by evening he was on his own shooting at Albanian homes.
The house had later become a base for army and police forces from which the promotion and co-ordination of the attack on the village of Dush began.
Of these attacks, according to the indictment, three elderly Zade, Osman and Haradin Marmajaku were burned in their homes.
The victims of these attacks were four other residents killed by the wife and daughter of the injured Jamie Marbajaku and Ismet and the Marmollaku Union.
The Act against Milorad Zaic has recently been founded by the Kosovo Special Prosecutor. /Kallex
