If he were alive, Historical President Ibrahim Rugova would have celebrated 74th birthday.
But despite the fact that he no longer lives, many people chose to remember him today.
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Daut Haradinaj has chosen a special way to commemorate and congratulate Rugova today, broadcast Indexline.
MP Haradinaj has wanted Rugova's birthday to congratulate just in the speech he gave when the president was elected, Hashim Thaci.
This address today is directed by MP Haradinaj to the Democratic League of Kosovo, which at the time enabled Thaci's election, president.
“will not be president of the National Unity and the People of Kosovo, but will be the president of this coalition. And you as deputy, since you've decided to take the vote, remember one more thing that you're dealing with and destroy the country, you're going down. You haven't given up the CV yet, but I did what you wrote for presidential candidates. Don't put the crown on him because you're wrong. The same man can no longer rule Kosovo for two mandates, does not need than Hashim Thaci today's presidential post when the move today is packed against one individual, whoever it is. You also include international diplomats who are saying today, not violence, not violence. Let these gentlemen know, too, that the violence that brought him to the Parliament, that you didn't hear us, that we tried with letters, we wrote that to the Majesty of the Nation, Jahjaga, dozens of times, we wrote to the prime minister, the deputy prime minister, the Minister of Internal Affairs, no response, not even a text. We were forced to use water, gas, to go out on the street, and to take a note to convince them that they were wrong. And this has nothing to do with politics, because eventually diplomats come and go, our country has to remain silent”, MP Daut Haradinaj had declared in February 2016.
