Council of Europe urges transparency in election of political advisers

The document with recommendations of the Council of Europe, a copy of which has “Koha Ditore”, clearly stipulates that the Kosovo Government must set criteria for appointment of advisers and do so transparently.
“For the sake of transparency, to publish the names of political advisors and foreign political advisors, as well as any unpaid adviser in the central government, and in relation to the last two categories to include the performance criteria ʹ, to set objective criteria and transparent procedures for the appointment and functions of political advisers and support staff<1>, it is said at the Council of Europe's first recommendation for the Government of Kosovo.
The Council of Europe has also pointed to the new Law to prevent conflict of interest.
