Citizens sceptical of Agim Bahtir's B plan for Mitrovica union

The initial plan which Mitrovica municipality chairman Agim Bahtiri had announced about uniting the town of Mitrovica in a single municipality seems to be missing support. Bahtiri, days ago, has asked the Kosovo government to take the necessary steps to send him to the Kosovo Assembly. [...]
Bahtiri, days ago, has asked the Kosovo government to take the necessary steps to send the draft amendment of the Law to Kosovo in a single municipality.
Through a Facebook post, Bahtiri has said his bid to unify the city has been supported by most political parties in the Mitrovica municipality Assembly.
But Bahtir's first idea has not received support from the Kosovo government.
Thus, Bahtiri has again come up with a new plan for joining the south with northern Mitrovica.
The new plan for uniting two parts into a single municipality, through a petition, collecting 10,000 signatures of the citizens of Mitrovica, has confirmed it to KTV dealt with Bahtiri himself.
But northern citizens of Mitrovica, who have not wanted to be promoted to the camera -- the plan of Chairman Agim Bahtiri -- are not supporting him.
Although in southern Mitrovica wants the unification of two parts of Mitrovica, citizens say Bahtiri's plan is contrary to Ahtisaari's package, for which no one will receive support.
On November 30th, the Mitrovica municipality Assembly gave full support to the initiative, which urges the Government to proceed with changing several provisions of the Law for administrative borders of both Mitrovica municipalities.
By unanimous votes, Mitrovica's Municipal Assembly approved the initiative.
