Charged for veterans' lists: If there are over 19 thousand frauds, I'm jumping off the Church Bridge.

The 12 former heads of the Government Commission for the recognition and Verification of the Status of Veterans, Agim Ceku, Nuredin Lushtaku, Sadik Halitajha, Shumbin Demalijaj, Qele Gashi, Shukri Bija, Ahmet Daku, Rrustem Berisha, Faik Fazliou, Smajl Elezaj, Fadil Shudaj, Xavitari have accepted the charges sent by the court.

In a proposal for the Balkans.info, Sadik Halitijaha former commander of the Posttric Operative Zone has confirmed that he has accepted the new indictment court. He has said that even this act as a first has many defects, since it does not make sense that 19 thousand and 500 soldiers have been misregistered to gain Veteran's status.

I can't be convinced that there's no logic that 19 thousand and 500 veterans are wrong. Errors have been able to happen in 1015 people but not in such large numbers”, Halitijaha said.

He has said he does not believe that he will be found guilty in this case because, according to him, “has no legal basis for those charges, but after the process has begun, he will respond voluntarily to the tribunal”.

Halitijaha has said he would like to establish a Military Court where prosecutors would be military and understand the terminology of a commander or superior who had someone in command.

The former commander has stressed that under the last law that has been in force, even deserters are counted as participants in war after being equipped with documents as facts.

The past “Law was flawed, under which even deserters were counted as war participants because they were equipped with documents that they presented as facts and we could not deny them anyone. According to opinion assumptions, there are up to 15,000 soldiers who have taken arms by hand, but in reality we have had to rely on relevant documents, and through these documents 46000 soldiers have been registered”, Halitijaha said.

In the new indictment, Halitijaha has said he has seen very few changes in which only 1,000 people have been reduced. But he noted that if 19,500 veterans proved true, as the Prosecutor claims in the indictment, he is able to kill himself.

If there are 19,500 wrong veterans on the list, I'm able to directly sign and jump from the Church Bridge to kill myself because I wouldn't be taken by logic to have 19,500 wrong soldiers”, Halitijaha has declared.

On the other hand, the former Commander of the Balkan Postwork Zone.info has said he thinks that a kind of pressure has been created equal to the Special Court and the Agreement with Serbia, so that even “has been suppressing veterans' values and commanders, which has created explanations among soldiers”.

Halitijaha has declared that he is willing to respond both to the local justice bodies, but also to international ones such as The Hague tribunal, since a lack of legal basis for such an indictment would be confirmed.

In the end, Halitijaha has said he will make a request to the Court for the process to be public and to take place in the presence of cameramen, as according to him it would be necessary for the broad opinion to see the process proceed and be tried as an individual and never the KLA war.

It's best to pass the trial directly from the public and to be judged personally whether I'm guilty in this case because I don't want the KLA to be tried in any way.
