Serbia's European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic and Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn signed a part of the 2017 Pre-member Assistance Tool worth over 97m euros in Brussels today.
The money will be used in the field of energy and environmental protection, as well as for participation in EU programmes (Comsme, 2020 horizon, Erasmus +), Joksimovic and Hahn broadcasts Kosovo.
Hahn after signing this deal worth over 97m euros, stressed that the EU once again indicated that it strongly supports Serbia's movement towards Union membership.
This part of EU assistance prior to Serbia's membership will be used in part to strengthen the energy sector in Serbia and in part to increase citizens' quality of life through environmental protection.
