Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha reacted sharply to these serious events. Referring to Marios Isa's murder in Cavalla, Berisha points out that he strongly condemns these real racist criminal acts.
After the assassination in exchange for fire by Albanian police of the Greek extremist from Bularatti, Constantine Kaficas, in the neighbouring country, in blind and primitive revenge, has broken out a series of Albanian murders in all. In a few weeks' time span, they have been executed in different areas and circumstances of Greece 7 Albanians, all except one are cold-blooded executions based on hatred and primitive racism against Albanians, and as revenge, criminal acts of albanophobia”, Berisha says on Facebook.
It also urgently calls for international intervention with Greek authorities through a deep investigation into these murders, which, according to the former head of government, are racistly motivated.
“I call on the UN Human Rights Commission, Council of Europe, Commission and Council of EU Ministers to intervene with Greek authorities for an independent investigation into the causes and circumstances of racist executions of Albanians in Greece and to exercise all due pressure on Greek authorities that these criminal acts be punished, Berisha notes.
