Behgjet Pacolli Party big debt to Prizren municipality

Debts, which political parties hold to Prizren's municipality, for the use of municipal property are numerous.

The Prizren municipality had contracted contracts for the exploitation of municipal property at 1 euros a month for nine local parties, which represent the Communist Assembly.

For these locals, public auctions were not organised as required under the Law for providing for and exchanging municipal property.

According to municipal local officials, the locals were provided under the 2005 Municipal Assembly decision.

KA LLXO.com has demanded from Prizren's municipality the amounts of debts the political parties owe Prizren.

According to information from the municipality's spokesman, Lis Dorambar these debts are for municipal property that these political parties use for party activities.

Behgjet Pacolli's party, New Kosovo Alliance (AKR), is the champion of debts to this municipality.

This party owes the municipality 3 thousand 745 euros and 67 cents.

The Kosovo Democratic Alternative Party (ADK), led by former Minister for Dialogue and former chief negotiator Edita Tahiri, is the successor of the AKR, owed about 2 thousand and 372 euros and 45 cents.

Bosniak Democratic Party “U n SB” (Ujedina Stranka Bošnjaka) owes Prizren's municipality 106 euros and 45 euro cents.

The political party “Democratic Union” is in debt with Prizren's municipality for 55 euros.

The National Ball owes the municipality 51 euros and 94 euro, 41 euros to the Communists, the Albanian Democratic Party.

Out of 36 euros, it results in debt to the municipality of three political parties, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Turkish party “KTAP”

21 euro is party debt NDS Nova Democraticska Stranka.

Political party “SDA” owes the municipality 12 euros.

Two parties in Prizren against others have also paid the rent for the coming months of municipal property exploitation.

The Justice Party has paid rent for another year, while the DS political party Bosniak paid the rent for the next nine months.

The Vetevendosje Movement, which leads the municipality through this mandate, has not paid the rent for three months.

Only two parties that exploit municipal property have no debt to it. It is the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Turkish KDTP Party, which have no obligation in the municipality.

Political parties' debts to Prizren's municipality were also counted by the National Audition Office in 2016 and 2017.

According to the findings of the General Auditor in 2017, these tenants have had obligations to the municipality worth 182,476 euros.

Compared with 2016, they have dropped for 103,358 euros (their duties to the municipality in 2016 were 285,834 euros), following agreements reached by municipalities and tenants.

While in 2016 municipalities for property leased for 2016 had planned to realise 1,3550,000 euros, while having managed to register 501,328 euros or 37%.

These debtors owed the municipality 285,834 euros.
