The Ambassador of the United States to Kosovo, Philip Costnet, has called tomorrow's vote of three laws with which the Kosovo Assembly will start the process of transforming the Kosovo Security Force into the military.
In a statement posted on Twitter, Costnet reiterated that the US will support KSF in its professional development.
Tomorrow's “vote for the KSF transition is historic for Kosovo. The US will support the professional development and organisational evolution of the KSF, which should play a positive role for Kosovo and the region, reflecting the country's multiethnic character and the commitment of Kosovo's people to peace”, Costnett said.
