Albanian businessman released even though his fortune was seized with millions of dollars

Elbasan's court has freed Elton Kila, after more than two months of his arrest.

The verdict was handed down two days ago by the Court, which has left the young man under obligation of presentation. The 37-year-old was arrested on October 18th for Italian justice accounts. Elton (Kastriot) Kila was charged in the neighbouring state for several criminal acts such as “Taking part in a criminal organisation”, “Narcotical Trafficking”, “Defee” and “False calling”.

But his release came after Kila already served the sentence for these crimes in Italy many years ago when he was an immigrant in this country. Shortly after his release, the young man has expressed gratitude for those who have stayed close to him after his arrest. All praise belongs to Allah, not to any partner.

The young man from Elbasan displayed a life of luxury on social networks, where there was no shortage of expensive pictures and travel to exotic sites. About a month after the 37-year-old arrest, Elbasan's prosecution seized Kila's property, amounting to 71 million dollars. But according to the prosecution body, the value of assets on the market is several times greater. The seizure of wealth was due to suspicions that it could result from Kila's criminal activity in Italy.

Among the assets seized were several buildings, a car trading company. The value of buying these assets from Kila declared in notary statements catches up to 70. 819,000 new dollars. The current market value of these assets is much greater.

Also, the 37-year-old has been seized by 39 luxury cars and 6 motor vehicles in 3 vehicle sales points, suspected of taking advantage of criminal activity. It is expected that the Elbasan Court will make a decision regarding the sequentification of these properties, their seizure, or the removal of sequistros. /panorama/
