British Prime Minister Theresa May has told critics that her departure from power would not facilitate the Brex agreement.
May, which has faced the possibility of vote of no confidence by some lawmakers following the publication of the European Union exit plan, said the next week would be critical.
May could face a vote of confidence if at least 48 conservative lawmakers -- 15% of the parliamentary party -- seek it with official letters.
The agreement between the European Union and Britain has been met with much criticism and is expected to be signed at a summit over the next week.
There are doubts whether it will be supported by all sides, both the opposition and the Party of Democratic Union of Northern Ireland.
Some cabinet ministers have resigned, and some are still believed to change their stance.
May told Sky news that <x0 selecti is a serious business and I am part of it was a long time”, adding that the next seven days will be critical for Britain.
