Aleksandar Vuciq has said Germany is consistent in its stance on Kosovo, but that according to him, such stability exists in backing Serbia on its path towards the EU.
Vuciq has said the meeting with Agela Merkel took place before the Paris ceremony, marking the 100th anniversary of the First War. He has said the meeting has lasted about 40 minutes, and within this period they have been arguing over the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
A few minutes before the ceremony, Merkel wanted us to talk. We talked about about 40 minutes. We talked about regional issues, bilateral relations, dialogue and other things”, he said.
The Serbian president said that during this visit he has also discussed Russian President Vladimi Putin without specifying the topics spoken.
Meanwhile, as he said before reporters, there has been a meeting with US President Donald Trump, who, according to him, has praised the Serbian people.
He said Serbs are a great people and that I represent wonderful people. I am very proud because he is the second most powerful man after Putin”, he said.
