After 39 years, the unique film for Albanian painter Lin Delija was discovered in the RAI archive

The film was shot by the great Albanian director from Kosovo's Peja in 1979.

The film is a real gem in the film world. Film critic Vraning Gecaj found this film from RAI archives and conducted an exclusive interview for the first time regarding this film with director Kolndrekaj at his home in Rome.

They killed him. He found out this movie after he spoke to director Kolndrekay. We were talking about world cinematography and Albanian artists and spontaneously mentioning Kolndrekaj Lin Delije, and I say it's the sin of missing visual documents for these great Albanian artists! Kolndrekaj in his modesty shows that since 1979 a documentary film about Lin Deliye aired in Raiuno in 1979, I was shocked by this fact and said: Mr. John, where is this movie? Kolndrekaj tells me, in the RAI archive, and so does the story of this historical event”

The film is in the original form in Italian and tweeted in English, part of the music is Nexmije Paganousse, the film is produced for Raiuno in 1979, an interview conducted with 29.10.2018 with Koldrekane is translated by Ilirijana Serreqi.

This film is unique and shows the spirit and life of Albanian artist Lin in detail. Kolndrekaj with his unique artistic style openly and publicly since 1979, the Albanian freedom struggle for both Albania and Kosovo. Through music from Albanian soil, it presents Albania's top culture and combines it with images from Lin Delia's life to serve the Italian public a special emotion at the time.

Lin Delise's works are displayed at the Modern Art Pianique at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome at Museum «Lin Delija» in Antrodoco, at the City Museum of Osimo, at the Centre for Modern Art Studies in Brescia, at the Museum of Modern Art in Palermo, at the Museum of St. Anna in Quebec, Canada, at the University of Erlangen in Germany, New York, and so on. There's a museum in the city of Osimio dedicated to Master Delija, and his old friends at Antrodokos built him a museum in 2002 in the city where he lived.

John Kolndrekaj is a director, author and producer of the film. From 1976 to 1978, he was trained at the experimental cinematographic center in Rome. Student of the famous documentary director Joris Ivlans and directors Francesco Rossi, Miklos Jancso, Frank Capra. Volunteer assister in film: “Prova di Orchestra” by Federico Felini. He's been working in RAI for 24 years and now he's got private Chrossinmedia group production in Rome.

Vraning Gecaj is the film science magistrate at the University of Gottenburg in Sweden, where he has studied Albanian film and has been active filmmaker.
