US President Donald Trump has told the Wall Street journal that he expects to set tariffs for all Chinese goods imported, including equipment such as iPhone.
This may increase the cost of the iPhone by 10 percent, an increase that Trump believes will not be a problem, transmits Koha.net.
“People can afford it very easily”, Trump said.
This news comes only four days from the joint summit between Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
The tariffs imposed by Trump for $200 billion imports from China to the US will increase by 25 percent of the existing ones.
And if negotiations between presidents fail, the fee could be set for another $267 billion of goods imported from China, which are now underpaid, which would increase the prices of Apple's technology products and other companies by 10 to 15 percent.
