Visar Riza told of the problems his brother, Triumfi, had with accused Enver Sekiraqa.
He said during his testimony that his brother had consistently had problems with the accused.
There's been trouble from the beginning with the gentleman here, before I had the case in Swiss Cassino... I know that day it was with Arben Selmanaj and they were coming down and down the entrance, actually stopped them, and that's where what happened. As far as I know there's been records there that the court might be in charge of”, the witness said.
In addition to this case, the witness said his brother had been having problems with the accused all the time.
“Noon-stop has had escorts. The burning got him, later in the village they put him on the street, and these cases that I'm mentioning have been all open to the police. And I've been present many times when we've been forwarded to”, the witness said.
To people who had been forwarded to Wisar Riza, he said that by names I don't know exactly what they're called, but he said they were Sekiraqa people.
Now with names I don't know, but it was Rumqi, Lisa, two or three more, but with names I honestly don't know, there was probably this presence and also his brother”, the witness said.
The witness then confessed what had happened on the critical day and how he realized that his brother had been shot by fire and then passed away.
I had to work in the afternoon and Treumfi took me to work. On the way along, we had escorts that Treumfi met his people, then I know he turned 100 euros of cheese we brought to Grandy, and then, if he wasn't wrong, he met Brian and we talked on the phone and I'm at the AM&PM, about half an hour later I got a call from a friend that Triumfin's got on their knees. I called a taxi and I got close to the CKUK when I got there he was already dying. In the meantime, the police have declared my news”, Visar Riza said.
And when asked about Arben Berisha, who is in pain with the sentence related to the murder of Triumf Riza, the witness said his brother had never mentioned his name.
During interrogation by the defendant's defender, Kosovo lawyer Kelmendi also spoke of the relationship his late brother had had with singer Adela Ismaili.
Has your brother's connection to Adelaine Ismaili been mentioned in what circumstances she started dating, has this relationship begun as spontaneous, or has there been any other pretext? ”, the lawyer asked the witness.
The same one answered that I don't know, but then, in response to the lawyer's following questions, he said that at the time, his brother was a member of the Kosovo Special Police Unit, in close defense (of President Fatmir Sejdiu), adding that Adelina Ismaili had sought protection from the late officer, police Triumf Riza.
And as far as I know she's been asking for help, because they had given her tribute and many times they threatened her, said Triumf Riza's brother, Witness Visar Riza.
Finally answering the accused's attorney's questions, the witness said he no doubt believes that following his brother's murder, the accused Enver Sekiraqa stands behind.
The father of the late Triumf Riza, Shefqet Riza, also confessed how he learned about killing his son.
I was at the mayor's office in Kacanik when I was called, I was told come quickly because he was injured by the Sequirah gangs. The police are also aware, that they were”, the witness said.
Shefqet Riza also declared during his testimony that Triumfi had never mentioned anyone named Arben Berisha. During this session his testimony regarding the case has also given Blerim Shala.
This case has begun recently after the Court of Appeals has retriald the case in which Enver Sekiraqa is accused of inciting the assassination of Special Police Unit member Triumf Riza.
The Kosovo Special Prosecutor's Act represents prosecutor Haki Gecaj as the case is being tried by the court consisting of judges, Shashivar Hoti, Becir Kaluldra and Shadije Grguri.
During past hearings, at the resumption of the trial, Sekiraqa had said that neither the prosecutor nor the court would respond.
No response, no prosecutor or court replied to”, Sekiraqa had said.
Sekiraqa had been sentenced in 2016 to 37 years in prison in connection with the instigation of the murder of police officer Triumf Riza, but the Court of Appeals found her backed up with the defense complaint and retrial the case.
