US has come to the support of Kosovo in the discussion held today at the UN Security Council
US representative Jonathan Cohen once again recalled that America strongly supports the transformation of KSF into the Army, where he also called for harsh rhetoric to be eliminated in this matter.
We think UNMIK has fulfilled its mission and should withdraw. The United States also supports transparency in transforming the KSF into a territory protection army. We appeal to avoid harsh rhetoric”, said by US representative to the UN.
Similarly, he called on all states that have not recognised Kosovo to do so as soon as possible.
In his speech, he also encouraged all countries to support Kosovo's membership in Interpol.
