World-renowned singer Rita Ora, in an interview for the British magazine “Stylist” has talked about her background from Kosovo.
Speaking of her life and career in music, the maker of the hit “Lett you love with”, has said that at home they speak Albanian and that there is no word to describe how proud it is to come from Kosovo.
Asked what it means to be Kosovar and how this has shaped as a woman, Rita has replied: “I have no words to describe how proud I am of my background. At the beginning of the year, I performed for the 10th anniversary of Kosovo independence and was an incredible experience, not only for me, but also for my family”.
The magazine has also asked whether they speak Albanian at home, while Rita has replied it is important for them to speak Albanian.
“Yes, it's very important that we speak Albanian”, Rita replied.
