Prosecutor Igrista requisified the work from heavy theft to theft of municipal services.
“Based on the appeals prosecution's proposal of 22.2.1018 which has proposed and suggested that the court name this criminal act for what even the appeals court has turned into retrial where we are here today, the prosecution considers that on the basis of the actual description on the slide of the indictment in the concrete case we deal with the theft of municipal services and the same act of requabled, and instead of grave theft it should be the theft of municipal services by the 320th Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo <1x> The prosecutor said.
The judge of the case, Rrustem Begolli, after requalification of the criminal act, interrupted the session to continue later.
MP Kelmendi is charged with the purpose of misappropriating foreign items to bring an illegal property to himself from unconfirmed dates until June 30th 2011, the company “Elkos”, in Fushe-Kosovo, which is his property, has caused damage KEK's worth 22.801.19 euros.
That, according to the prosecution, during a raid on the “Elkos” company by KEK workers, has noted that Kelmendi, with the intention of stealing, has been able to harness electricity.
The indictment further explains that up to this conclusion by KEK workers has come after two transformators of the current have been found that have been out of measure, while one component was cut off from connection.
As a result, the prosecution claims that through these actions two thirds (2/3) of electricity had not been registered, with cases even accusing Kelmendi of criminal theft.
In January of this year, Ramiz Kelmendi had rejected the charges brought by the prosecution, claiming that at the time he is allegedly charged with no responsibility for the company. /Cashho. com
