Recent years are becoming more sophisticated every year, since screens, facial recognition and almost professional cameras. Despite these technical improvements, it seems that their battery has little progress, as most would expect.
This was confirmed by a new study conducted by the American newspaper “The Washington Post”, which concluded that the battery of the latest popular phone models did not produce better results than the battery of older models.
The study was conducted on 13 phones, including iPhone XS model and Google phone Pixel 3. All phones had the same amount of light on the screen. Then the phones were used for the browser of various pages until their battery was completely spent.
Suddenly, iPhone XS stood less on fire than its predecessor, iPhone X, shutting down all 21 minutes earlier than iPhone X. On the other hand, Pixel 3 phone went off an hour and a half earlier than Pixel 2, writes dailimail.co.uk.
The only new phone model that stayed longer than the old model was iPhone XR, which stood on three hours longer than iPhone X.
