The decision was made after the meeting that Serbs from Kosovo had with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, a day after Pristina's official decision to raise customs duties on Serbian and Bosnian goods from 10 per cent to 100 per cent.
Marko Djuric, director of the so-called Serbian Office for Kosovo, said Serbia will work 24 hours with Serbs in Kosovo to resolve the issue.
He has announced that Kosovo Serbs agreed that the first, peaceful, one-hour action is organised tomorrow in Kosovo”.
In a press release after the meeting, Djuric said that Pristina has carried out an economic measuresmenk against Serbs in Kosovo with the intent to expel them.
He said this is happening for at least three reasons and that there are three goals and the first is for Serbia to recognise Kosovo's independence. The second goal, according to Djuric, is to reject the existence of the Serb people in Kosovo”. While the third goal, according to him, is for Serbs in Kosovo to be blamed for something not to blame. For this reason, our request to Serbs in Kosovo was for our resistance to be Gandian, peaceful and non-violent”, Djuric said, adding that Kosovo Serbs have Serbia's full support in this regard.
Serbs have also warned of the possibility of roadblocks and that protests in northern Mitrovica will be held at the Health Centre and the student centre.
