This strategically important document for the Republic of Kosovo envisions deepening economic co-operation withEFTA and during 2019, as well as opening negotiations on Free Trade Agreements with theEFTA countries.
Minister Shala has said that today is an extraordinary moment for the state of Kosovo and for the economy, as it is a step towards reaching the signing of the Free Trade Agreement.
This is an extraordinary moment for us as a state, for our economy, as it is a step forward, on the right track until we reach the signing of the free trade agreement with these countries. Such an agreement means that all products produced in Kosovo are exported to Switzerland and to other countries mentioned without any taxes. In the course of our work to promote domestic production and export we are already opening up roads and we are finding new partners and markets for our products”, Minister Shala said.
