The metrological oversight of the weight of bread, and the market inspectorate has also monitored declaration at the point of sale. The director general of the Metrology Agency, Ferki Feyza, has said that the purpose of metrological surveillance activities has been to enforce the law in certain ovens and that bread measure and verify of the scales.
He has also shown that metrological supervision of prepacking products has also been done from import and local.
While Lulzim Syla, chief inspector of the Ministry of Trade and Industry Inspectorate, has said they have monitored declaration in bread ovens by comparing what is written and bread sold.
“We have made inspections at five different furnaces and the goal has been to compare what it marks, is 500 grams, and is selling 500 grams. These five visits have resulted in everyone's respect for the law and are within parameters”, he said.
During this action, an economic operator dealing with the sale of bread has been found, where no declination has been established and measures have been taken against that subject.
The MTI's “Inspectorate and municipal inspectors are doing their job and we are carrying out Minister Shala's order. We've also looked at whether there are inscriptions of Kosovo and Metohija, where it is seen that they have attracted all the goods. The oversight is starting to become 100 per cent for every commodity coming in from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, so that the government's decision will be implemented correctly”, Syla said.
