De Gea has so far refused to continue his contract with the team from Old Tuffford and fears they may be left without one of the best goalkeepers in the world, has urged club leaders to seek a new goalkeeper.
Ryan has been fantastic to Brighton's team since his transfer from the Amex team and in 10 matches has managed to keep the gate intact at Premier League.
