This giant plane, with three tails and just one wing of the size of a passenger plane, is more like a drone, but it can do satellite work.
The aircraft, supplied with solar energy, can stay in the air for three months in a row, autonomous way.
The plane, called “Odysse”, is being developed by Boeing Company, and will be one of the largest flying machines ever built, which will not be commanded by people aboard.
The company says that even though his giant arm will be the size of a plane, the weight will actually be the size of a car.
Odysseus will not fly faster than 150 miles [150 km] an hour but will be able to stay in the air for three months.
This project aims to build a sky called “sedo-satelites”, which can provide the same communications services as satellites, but at much lower cost.
