It for Serbian television “TV Pink” has stated that the decision on raising tax “has no economic logic”, but that this decision is political. Lajiq has claimed that the CEFTA agreement is being violated by this decision, and that CEFTA cannot influence Pristina's decision, but the EU can, because one of the EU's goals is to create common economic space, and with these measures that goal is meaningless.
He has reiterated that Serbia will not go to CEFTA processing troops meetings, which are held in Pristina this year, and has stressed that since 2006, when the CEFTA agreement was signed, there has not been anyone to create such barriers to other partners under the CEFTA agreement.
