Snowfalls have prompted Kosovo police to intensify the action to control car drivers if they have winter equipment. Over the past 24 hours, police have pronounced more than 900 traffic fines.
Going to communications during wintertime without winter equipment can be dangerous.
For this reason, Kosovo police have been taking action last week to control drivers if they are prepared for the start of the winter season, where communication drivers are forced to have the necessary equipment in vehicles to direct them.
Kosovo police say they have so far seen a more increased care by citizens in terms of these necessary equipment.
However, they call on drivers to be well equipped for this season.
Those who do not possess winter equipment are fined 40 euros.
