At today's government meeting, Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala proposed to the government cabinet the deployment of a measure of 10 % for several products produced in these two countries.
Shala said international interior products produced in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are excluded from this measure, two states that have not yet recognised Kosovo's independence.
According to Minister Shala, this measure is decided on milk and milk products, water, cookies, construction materials and liquids produced in these two countries.
Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj, speaking at this meeting, also spoke of the political aspect of this decisive move.
Serbia is distributing large sums of money to harm the state of Kosovo, and a large part of this money comes from trade with our state”, Hoxhaj said.
“This is the best response to Serbia's destructive behaviour”, Hoxhaj said, inviting even citizens not to buy Serbia's products.
“I believe that from today even Ivica Dacic's suitcase will be smaller and less to work against Kosovo”, Enver Hoxhaj said.
While the proposal was approved, Prime Minister Haradinaj wanted to make sure that this decision did not affect the international frogs they produce in Serbia and Bosnia.
“Coca Cola has not been affected by this decision”, Haradinaj said.
