Trump was furious with journalist Jim Acsta, after he rejected the definition that makes Trump a convoy of immigrants heading towards the American border, which he calls <x0).
Why don't you let me rule the country and govern CNN? If you did your job well, your vision would grow”, Trump told the journalist.
Acosta tried to ask the president another question, but Trump did not allow it, while the White House assistant launched a <x0->war with the journalist to take the microphone. The journalist asked to ask Trump if he was concerned about the Russian investigation, but Trump said: “CNN must be ashamed to have an employee like you. You're very rude, a lot of bad men...”
After another journalist, who tried to protect his colleague, Trump was given “to include” as well: “And I don't like you”.
After the Acosta started talking again to the president, Trump accused him of reporting false news and of being the enemy of the people: “Please sit down! You report false news. That's what you guys do on CNN. When you give false news, you are enemies of the people”.
Through a statement, CNN defended his reporter: “The White House announced it has revoted CNN's top correspondent at the White House, Jim Acosta. This happened after challenging questions at the press conference. In a reaction, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders lied. She made misleading accusations and cited an incident that never occurred. This unprecedented decision is a threat to our democracy, and the country deserves better. Jim Acsta has our full support”.
