On October 31st, Special Court Chief Prosecutor Jack Smith visited Kosovo for the first time, where he met only Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri among the country's top leaders.

Xhavit Haliti, speaking in an interview for Periscope, has said this is not the extraordinary behavior of chief Special Prosecutor, but it's entirely within his agenda.

This person who's here, the attorney general, is the day he's met the institutions he's been working with. He is not a politician and has no organic connections, no ties to the president, no prime minister, no Parliament Speaker, no Kosovo political groups. Those institutions I don't see with the prime minister, not the president, are just insulin. The thought that he was supposed to meet the prime minister, the president and speaker of parliament is wrong and that absolutely he does not need to meet these, Halit said.

Haliti said that even chief prosecutor Smith's predecessor had met only the justice minister of the time. /Periscopi/
