After more than five hours of interviewing former AKI director Driton Gashi, Parliamentary Investigative Commission Chairman Jelal Svecla said there is a tendency to blame for the case being thrown from one institution to another.
He said it was a long intervention through which the fact that finds cannot be made public was stressed.
“There is sufficient evidence for legal violations and overcoming competencies, but primary guilt we are aiming to identify top responsibilities”, he said.
Sfecla added that the commission's action plan is to invite Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Kosovo President Hashim Thaci to interview.
Regarding the timelines of how long this process of interviewing will take, MP Svechla said this investigative commission has a mandate for another month and that within this period they should come up with reports at the plenary session.
For interviews during today, the AKI inspector-in-chief, Shozen Soopyan and Infrastructure Minister Pal Lekay have also been detained, but the latter have not responded to the invitation because of their agendas.
