In the European Parliament, Serbia's progress report towards EU membership is under consideration, in which the part involving normalisation of relations with Kosovo, welcomes Belgrade's efforts and stresses that “any agreement on this issue should be acceptable only if the two sides have an agreement on”.
European MPs are of reconciliation that Pristina must give up taxes, Belgrade television N1 reports.
The 100 per cent tax allocation violates the CEFTA agreement and the one for Stabilisation and Association between Kosovo and the EU. I invite Government to Pristina to immediately withdraw the” tax, McAlister has said.

Kosovo rapporteur Igor Scholtes has said Pristina must give up taxes and the European Union must commit to this.
The report on Serbia welcomes progress in the economy, while worried about the state of freedom of expression and media. Reporter for Serbia David McAlister has shown hope that at least three chapters will open in Serbia's talks in December. The vote on the report is scheduled for tomorrow.
