The European Environment Agency in Europe's “Air Quality report has published the data on deaths of absolute value.
The report presents the latest official air quality data reported by more than 2,500 monitoring stations and refers to 2015.
In Serbia, this indicator is 0.1.8% of the population number, about 13 thousand deaths, and in Macedonia 0.14% of the population or 3,000 deaths, ranking second and third in Europe respectively.
Despite figures, according to these measurements, Macedonia results in higher concentration of air pollution particles than all other countries in the region.
