US President Donald Trump and his Turkish counterpart, Tayip Erdogan, discussed how to respond to the murder that took place last month of Saudi dissident Jamal Khashoggi, a White House official said on Sunday.
The conversation was held during a Saturday dinner with the heads of state gathered in Paris to mark the centenarian of World War I Armistics.
Erdogan found on Saturday that audio records of the assassination were given to the American, French, German and British governments, adding that the operation was ordered at “the highest <x1nd of Saudi government.
Khashoggi, a critic of Saudi Arabia's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, was killed in Istanbul at the Saudi Arabia consulate by a team sent by Riyadh. Khashogg was charged with the murder of Saudi Arabia, but the latter denied allegations that he had ordered journalism to be killed, after weeks of denial of the Saudi Kingdom has finally acknowledged that the murder has been conceived, but his body has not been found.
Khashoggi on October 2nd, along with his fiancée, went to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to get some background documents, he after entering the consulate did not appear again after his body was reportedly wasted in acid so as not to leave any trace.
Next week Trump hopes to form a much stronger “think of Khahoggi's murder and Washington's response, he said on November 7th, adding that he was working with Congress, Turkey and Saudi Arabia to decide who bore responsibility for the death of Saudi journalist.
