Investigations into the murder of Brazilian football player Daniel Correa are still continuing. Finally, a 19-year-old who witnessed this event has revealed that a butcher knife was used to slit his throat.
The murder suspect, Edison Brittes, who has publicly said that he has performed this work, had ordered all guests in his home to clean up all crime scenes, as well as to burn all the rest of Correa's blood.
In fact, Globoesport reports that Brittes had ordered that all football identification documents be burned so that police could find no evidence to accuse him of murder.
At first, the plan had been to cast a spell on her, not kill her, because Brittes claimed that her husband had raped her. Police have denied this charge of rape, but it is believed that Brittes had seen the footballer's photos in bed with his wife and was angry because of them.
Eduardo's lawyer, one of the three men who helped Brittes, has clarified the incident in detail. He says the plan was to digest Correan, but Brittes had invited the three men to hook him up after they had beaten him because Brits' behaviour had changed along the way, when he had seen the footballer's pictures with his wife.
They all got out of the car to digest Corean, but the British slit his throat. After doing so, he had sought help from the other three men to get him out of the car, but none of them refused to do so.
But Brittes continued to stab him in the neck and because the other three men felt sorry for him, they helped him to remove his body.
