Charged for fraud and fraud, Burdush's lawyer says there is no evidence of his sentence

After the establishment of the Constitutional Prosecutor's Act in Prizren against Hysni Pecan, his lawyer Asdren Hoxha has spoken.

Hoxha said his client, who is being held at the Prizren detention centre, is being charged with five criminal acts.

“The transaction is in the direction of five criminal acts: guilty, fraud, weapons, illegal exercise of medical activity and avoidance of tax”, Hoxha said.

Hoxha added that at the meeting with his client, he feels innocent and denies all charges because neither of them remains.

Kosovo police in co-operation with the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren have raided today the popular doctor's home known in the opinion as “Burdushi”.

During the raid, a short gun and a long one have been found in his house.

For confiscated weapons, Hoxha said they both had permission.

“Arms have been with expired permission, meaning there has been permission for to”, Hoxha said.

While for the criminal act avoiding the illegal tax and exercise of medical activity, Hoxha said there are no evasions from the tax, as his client pays taxes and has licenses for his activity.

During the police raid, three cars owned by Hysri Pecani were seized.

His lawyer, Asdren Hoxha, says two of his guys' cars were his own guys' cars.

“You have received without a reason. He's got loans for these cars, has evidence for them, knows where he bought them, but it's not known why they got”, Hoxha says.

Hoxha said it is not yet scheduled when the hearing will be held against his client, but the same has been sent to the hold for 48 hours.

Prizren's founding prosecutor has filed charges against Hysni Pecani.

According to the prosecution's indictment, “Burdushi” is charged with the accusation that from 20,06.2014 to 12.08.2014 in Prizren, hiding the facts and with the aim of illegally benefiting property for itself or the other person, or for causing damage to the other person, cheats or continues the injury.

According to the prosecution's claims, in this process accused “Burdushi” as a popular physician, he already deals with the injured to heal a family member suffering from depression.

According to the indictment, the deal was for Buddushi” to heal the current member of the prosecutor's injury in compensation for 2 thousand euros, but that after a time the patient has shown no signs of healing. And as a result here, the accused”Burdushi” -- the injured -- puts it into madness and fraud, causing material damage -- is highlighted in Prizren's Constitutional Prosecution Act.

According to the Kosovo Criminal Code, for criminal fraud as in the indictment, if the facts prove during the trial that the same has committed criminal acts as in indictment, the criminal code provides fine sentences and imprisonment of three (3) months to three (3) years.
