Foreign Affairs Minister Behgjet Pacolli has asked members of the Parliamentary Commission for Foreign Affairs suggestions for access to the Kosovo membership race in Interpol, but the chairman of this Vjosa Osmani Commission, at the usual meeting of the commission, has said it is now too late for recommendations after a few days until Kosovo's application vote in this organisation.
She said that even though she insisted that Minister Pacolli report, he has not responded.
“I will continue with the insistent, especially at this stage where Serbia is increasing its restructuring, despite the process of dialogue they are continuing with terrible offensives. Whether in recognition or demand that countries not vote for Kosovo in Interpol. The foreign minister has not reported on this subject for months now. As for Interpol, the minister sent me an email saying that we as a commission if we have suggestions to send them. I'll personally turn the answer and say it's late that a few days before being voted to ask us for suggestions”, Osman declared.
An expert on the Strategy for International Co-operation and Interparliamentary Co-operation has also been discussed at this meeting and expanding the list of experts for working groups.
Vjosa Osmani said there has been a list of experts since 2008 and proposes three new names for expansion of the list.
Its nominees were the three experts on the International Relations Determination, Istrefi and Donice Qerim.
While Elmi Recica from the PDK said he proposes that the decision for experts be postponed for the next meeting because, according to him, members of the Commission “need to look at all the proposed names and their CV”.
I propose that the names proposed for the vote be made at the next meeting because in a hurry we are not, we can leave it for Friday, said Recica.
During the meeting, Dren Dolly and Blerim Reka were added.
This meeting was discussed as regards the Law on Diaspora, where MP Glauk Konjufca asked that he not be hasty about this law because, according to him, the new law should be more discussed than the previous one.
