Football in question even goes further from the reaction of the aforementioned players by refusing to accept the decision and make an accounting request, for it is not a political provocation but a pride in remembering distant descent.
The manner of celebrating Kosovar Aslan has often been the same, two hands connected to each other, to show its deep roots. However, the Swedish Football Federation has asked the footballer not to repeat it on other occasions.
“Some interpret the eagle as a political provocation and gesture, but it is not like that and I am proud to have done it. It's part of my background, honor and pride for all Albanians. I have heard that it has been much liked as a gesture by Kosovo Albanians”.
A television television in Kosovo has repeated my celebration with an eagle for 24 hours. I feel pride and I can say I'm honored. I'm told I shouldn't do the eagle anymore. I don't know how things go, but there are rules that have to be implemented”.
