The government of Kosovo's decision to raise taxes on Serbian goods to 100% has been deemed unhealthy for the two countries' economy, on the part of Albania's Finance and Economy Minister Arben Ahmetaj.
Minister Ahmetaj suggests that Kosovo will not take such measures with any country, as setting tariffs, according to him, amounts to citizens. While for businesses in Albania the move taken by the Government of Kosovo is fair, but delayed in time, at the same time as opportunities and as an open door on the road towards the Kosovo market.
In the midst of a protectionist debate and nationalist features, Albania's business can even reap benefits from this Kosovo Government decision.
