South Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri and Deputy Chairman Faruk Mujka have held a rally with residents of the village of Vlachi.
At this rally, according to a Komuna announcement, was also the head of the LDK parliamentary group in Mitrovica, Safet Kamberi and village residents Vladhi, Zijac, Melenica and Dedi.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss some statements by some politicians, but also with the publication of a map, where, according to the new division after the “Final Agreement with Serbia”, the village of Vlach would remain under the administration of northern municipalities, respectively, in Serbia.
Initially, the village council chairman Vladhi, Ramadan Ademi, received the word.
“Brengo of residents of the village of Vlachi deals with the topic of exchange of territories, and the presence of some unknown people who are appearing in our territory with unknown intentions, bringing uncertainty to the village residents of Vladhi would remain under the administration of the state of Serbia. This region has vast underground wealth that God has given us, and we will not allow anyone to touch them anymore, because Vladia has never been part of Zveqan but has always been and will be part of Mitrovica”, Ramadan Ademi was quoted as saying.
Other residents of the village have expressed their concerns, stressing how there are visits from strangers who are being introduced as foreign citizens but speaking Serbian.
The main doubt they say lies in Serbia's interest in the subterranean of Vlach and Zijaca, in which 37 researchers have so far become and have resulted in huge reserves of valuable minerals in the world market.
