The Constitutional Court in Pristina has approved the Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor's request for the appointment of a month-long detention measure against corrective officer Stefan Velickovic and Diaspore Ministry official Petrit Mustafa, who allegedly tried to help escape Montenegrin Mario Milosevac
The Court's decision was taken on Friday, a day after Pristina Deputy Prosecutor's Prosecutor's Prosecutor Ibrahim Berisha has handed over to the Court the request for the detention of Velickovic and Mustaf.
According to the Court's report, on the corrective officer Stefan Velickovic is confident that the same was committed in criminal acts “the taking of the bribe” from Article 428, paragraph 1 of the KKP, while against Diaspore Ministry official Petrit Mustaf has the same suspicion that the same was committed by bribing “taking the bribe” from Article 429, paragraph 1KP. The detention of them is estimated from the day of the arrest, November 7th, to the same date of December, Zeri writes.
There is a doubt that defendant S. V. During July (August 2018) by defendant P. M. had received 3,000 euros in bribes and two mobile phones during the time of defendant S. V. was on official duty as High Security Prison Guardian in the village of Duz”, the Foundation Court in Pristina reported. The court has found according to this report that the request for the appointment of the detention measure against indictees Velickovic and Mustafa is adequate and necessary in this phase of the procedure to ensure their presence in criminal procedure and unhindered development of the procedure.
