Speaking to reporters, he reiterated his belief that Russia violated the 1987 nuclear weapons agreement he has threatened to abandon. Russia denies this.
The Cold War-era deal halted medium-range action missiles, which reduced the perceived Soviet threat to European countries.
Russia has warned it will respond with the same currency if America produces more weapons.
Trump, meanwhile, said that the United States will increase its arsenal “until people walk down on land”.

Meanwhile, National Security Adviser John Bolton has held talks in Moscow, as Russia condemned the US plan to exit the nuclear agreement. Bolton was told that American attraction would be a serious problem.
However, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Pattrusev also said the Kremlin was willing to work with the United States to iron out differences.
