Ternava: I have no military power, no police, I am a spiritual leader

Kosovo Prime Minister Naim Ternava says he is a spiritual leader and has no police or military power.

He says he felt good having received great support to be in charge of BIK.

I'm a spiritual leader, I'm unable to exercise dictates against anyone. I have no police, no AKI, no Army. Support has been initiated by their faith in the work we have done together, support has never been given. I've felt good, and today I feel good because I know we've worked hard. On the way, even I may have been wrong, it could be weakness”, he said in T7.

According to him, each BIK member has the right to express his personal opinion.

And we certainly live in a democratic time, and everyone who has the right to express their own free opinion, but we can't dare if anyone has aspirations or wants to be mufti, so that they can say words that don't fit at all with it”, he added further.

According to him, there are several Kosovo municipalities that still need new frameworks, when it comes to imams.
