The singer cancels the concert, sold only 24 tickets

The famous singer Ashanti may have 3.8 million followers in Instagram or 1.92 million on Twitter, but apparently that means nothing when we get back to real life.

The pop star was expected to perform at the Back To Brook event in Stoney Brook University at the end of the month. But foreign media reports the concert was canceled after only 24 tickets were sold.

“As an organisation, we do better to develop programmes for students by offering diversity and inclusion. A week before the concert, however, only 24 tickets were sold to students,” The university said in a statement.

Initially to hold the concert, Teyana Taylor was scheduled, but she withdrew at the last minute, not allowing organisers to promote Ashant.
