The referendum bill: Frasher Krasniqi and Haxhiu Albulen

The Commission for Legislation has discussed the referendum bill during today.

This point of the agenda has crashed commission chairman Albulen Haxhiu and PSD deputy Frasher Krasniqi over who is the founder of this bill, since the VV accuses the PSD of handing over their bill.

Commission Chairman Albulen Haxhiu has said problems with the draft are very big.

“The right to the referendum is fair and untenable, and it has had to take Kosovo a lot of weather. Problems with this draft are enormous. This was a draft we gave to activists to give comments and comments. So it's the original draft. There are issues that remain as comments. There are many problems in it. It is a mistake that Kosovo has no referendum where citizens should decide for demarcation. I have many remarks and they're container”.

The MP has reacted to this P DS, Frasher Krasniqi, who has said the problem for Vetevendosje is any good initiative that is not theirs.

Any law that is prosecuted in the Assembly has the time to be regulated. The most important part is for this law to enter the commission. Commission Chairman Albulen Haxhiu has reacted by saying that no letter was written by MP Faton Topalli.

We would have felt good if you had consulted us or changed those problems. I assure you that no letter in this bill has ever written Faton Topalli”, Haxhiu said.

Again, the deputy has reacted. The PSD, saying the law was made by Faton Topalli and Albanian Pantina.

This draft was not made at all by VV, this draft was made by a group of experts and made in contact with Faton Topalli. It's translated by Albanian deputy Pantina. The container part is being done in co-ordination of Faton Topalli and experts. I'm sure today the PSD comes out saying we're making the national union, the VV will come out and say I'm against it. Leave the party angry, but make the law for referendum”, he said.

VV deputy Sam Kurteshi has said the law has many problems.

There's always a mistake. In principle, a referendum law is necessary. I'm not wanting to deal with names, the text as it has been delivered has such huge shortcomings as it might have been that it requires huge change”, he said.

SHIK's mention by MP Sami Kurteshi has prompted MP Hajdar Beqa to say that even when he became ombudsman he was spoken to as having made SHIK.

We're dropping into debates, not Albulane, not Faton, not Albanian, I'm mentioning Sami. Even when the VV was created, it made SHIK, when Sami the ombudsman said it made SHIK. I also agree with the comments they are mentioned, as a very good idea. But it needs change. In this law I think it needs more changes than 40 per cent. I propose that the commission's initiative be taken over and that if you hand over sponsor”, he said.

AAK MP Shumbin Demalija has said there should be a union of all for this law, while MP Korab Sejdiu has said he will abstain for this bill because there are many mistakes.

The referendum bill has been voted out by seven MPs, one has abstained abstained, while Igor Simay from the Serbian List has not participated in the vote.
