PSD's Sejdiu: Hashim Thaci's Albin Kurti are built politically from Serbia

The Social Democrat Party is not a party to the spot. It is here to build a social democrat subject, which does not depend on the individual, which it differs from other parties.
Thus declares PSD chairmanship member Dardan Sejdiu in an interview for KosovaPress, where he stressed that he differs greatly from Vetevendosje, though by the beginning of this year, when their division was spread, he did not look like that.
And the key element that distinguishes subjects in question, according to Sejdiu, is postponing processes on the part of the PSD, while Vetevendosje staged protests.
Sejdiu: PSD is subject to push forward topics, not subject to protests
A fundamental difference between the PSD and the subject we've been in is that it's moving, another organisation. We're building a party which is based on the social democrat ideology of the centre-left, and it's a party which is organised as a party structure, so not as subject to protest and such engagement. But as the subject for implementing centre-left policies. On the other hand, I think that differences are now not only clear but also obvious. The PSD is the subject that pushed the centre-left themes forward. The topic related to economic development, employment, protection of workers' rights, with topics related to civic well-being, health system”, he says.
On the other hand, he says the PSD has the battle about policies guaranteeing each citizens dignified lives. As it adds, the major national themes should not burden the lives of citizens, although they do not rule out their importance.
Sejdiu: Besides PSD chairman, others have legitimacy since the 1990s
“We can't and don't have the luxury of hiding behind Serbia for 20 years, if you see politicians leading with political parties, except for the PSD chairman, that everyone has legitimacy from the years of yet90s, and if you take Serbia away from the discussion and political discours have nothing else to talk about. Because with Serbia they are built politically and hope and believe that Serbia can keep in question eternally. It's very important for us to go back to the lives of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, economic development, employment, real contracts... where the depth of the pocket of privacy in institutions doesn't define how successful you are or what opportunity Ki”, he points out.
MP The PSD has talked about Kosova Prees, even expectations of elections. As for whether it will manage to preserve the number of MPs it currently has, Sejdiu says that depends on when elections are held.
Sejdiu: It depends when elections are held
This depends on when elections are held. Unlike other subjects, we don't go out publicly and talk about positions and numbers that aren't related to time. The political situation today is different, after a year it will be different, after six months it is different. So we have said it publicly we support the collapse of this government, we think that this government is going to harm Kosovo and we have to move forward with elections. It costs us because we're still in consolidation. But this republic's interest is ahead of that party and again The PSD is taking the pressure forward on this topic, while other opposition subjects are making calculations on how to look to cheerleading”, he declares Kosovo Preress.
For surveys of the Koosovo Democratic Institute, according to which only 2.4 per cent of citizens have given support to this party, Sejdiu says the survey was conducted at a time when the PSD was in the consolidation phase and therefore these results have been released.
While he has expressed his full conviction that backing this party will be much greater if such polls are realised at the end of this year.
Sejdiu: I haven't seen three important things in KDI survey.
I haven't seen three things that are extremely important. The first one I haven't seen, the second one I haven't seen is geographical distribution, and the other one that is very important to me is the time when the survey was made. The survey is made summer, and although The PSD looks like the subject which is the weather on the political scene, as far as memory cooling, we were founded on May 9th, 3 months ago. And if you did the survey in August, that would be less than two months when the survey was done. Normally, the numbers will turn out bad”, he says.
All in the end, Sejdiu has also talked about the need the country has for political unity in order to find a solution to the issue of dialogue with Serbia.
The best way to achieve this, according to him, is for the Parliament to take control of the dialogue. /
