Vasfije Krasniqi became the first woman violated during the war to publicly confess all the horrors she had suffered during the war.
Media have reported yesterday that one of the policemen charged with Krasniqi's blessing had been a Kosovo police officer for 16 years.
Jovica Dejanovic was released from office in the past year for reasons police did not disclose.
Regarding this event in 2012, the accused's wife, Vera Boykovic, had been declared.
She had said that her husband during the war had worked in the mine, and was not at war.
He wasn't engaged in war, worked in mine... and so... We've had company, people came to visit, people he worked with, and there's never been any need to escape or hide, is there a problem here that they want to take our house and our property, because the kids don't have it here”, Boykovic told Radio Kim at the same time, broadcast Inseder.
Boykovic had also spoken of the day her husband was arrested on charges of sexual rape during the war.
Dejanovic told his wife that it's “pure”.
There were some 100 people in the yard, probably, the whole house was raided, the man was called, I was sent to another location, talked to him, and I had no access, destroyed our entire house, carried out the raid, took it, he said, wife make it strong, I'm clean before Mr.”, had declared the accused's wife.
One of the police's neighbors, Jovica Dejanovic, had spoken of the whole event.
Vukosawa Singhi had said her neighbor had had no problems with anyone.
Nothing we knew, he had nothing, no arguments, no Serbs, no nobody. He was here last night, and we talked through the box”, the accused's neighbor said.
In 2015, Dejan Stefanovic and another suspect were acquitted.
