The tariffs may vary from country to country, and from the type of equipment and their application will begin after February 1st, 2019.
The new licensing rules apply only to Europe and came as a result of the $5 billion fine the European Commission imposed on Google.
The criterion for determining tariffs depending on the size of the screen remains unclear.
Google had warned before if the European Commission followed suit, Android would cost.
