Z. Kosovo Prime Minister Dardan Gashi, who is on visit to France, has participated in waiting for Kosovo and diaspora businesses at our country's Embassy in Paris.
As revealed by a press release, he has met with the deputy head of the city of Paris, Christophe Girard.
With the latter discussed deepening cultural co-operation, in particular in the field of visual art, while as an influential person in French politics, Girard was asked to exercise influence to secure support for visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
I've been to Prizren and I've visited DocFestin... It is a festival of global size, which I am determined to support”, Girard said, expressing his awareness of Kosovars' difficulties to travel to EU countries. He promised to do whatever he can to convey the right message to the right people.
Girard also offered to establish a cultural centre that is very important in this city through cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the city of Paris.
Z. Prime Minister Gashi, thanking him for his support and for the ideas he offered, invited Mr. Girard for a visit to Pristina.
During the day, Gashi also met representatives of Kosovo businesses, which have displayed their products at the world's largest food fair, SIPA, as well as the chairman of the Albanian Business Network in France, Asia Vardar.
From the conversations I had, I realized that the fair, in which we have financed as Government, has been successful, resulting in several signed contracts and agreements... This is an encouraging sign to continue this assistance to our businesses, to build bridges of co-operation with Albanian businesses in the diaspora and jointly work for social welfare”, Zv said. Prime Minister Gashi.
Businesses once again have thanked Kosovo institutions for the support offered, as they received guarantees for support at similar fairs in the future.
